Oh GOSH Oh HECK!! I need y'all's help! 😱

How could this happen to me on today of all days??? Nothing Wacky or Wild was supposed to happen, I made sure of it 💔😭

So I go to post today's page on as per usge on today the First of April, and SOMEHOW as I did so, all of my comic has completely GLITCHED OUT!! Some panels have been completely replaced with other Wacky and Wild images! Luckily, I caught today's page before it went out, but here's what it WOULD'VE looked like hadn't I caught it!

How can I call myself a professional artist if my comic looks Like That?

I CANNOT be made a fool, so I need to fix this ASAP, and I need your help to find them! Why can't I find them myself, you ask? I mean,,, there's like a hundred pages, and I just can't be bothered rn. Y'all can do it.

Anyways! Using my Amazing IT skills(TM) I have discovered that there are 10 (ten) pages of my comic that have been affected by this Very Real April Fools glitch. Could y'all please look through and find the glitched pages for me so I can fix them asap? I'll give y'all a doodle for it

Y'all are way too kind to me. I spent the weekend being overwhelmed in the best of ways with all the blessing's y'all threw my way. TvT

While I tried my best in my comments, I cannot put into words how much this all means to me. I'm more excited for my birthday now than I ever was as a kid, y'all made my first quarter century on Earth so special <33 So Please take this journal as a token of my grand appreciation! As shown in the title, this is a DTIYS!!! As for what you're tasked to redraw, how about

~ANY panel in the comic~

That's right, this is a panel redraw for ALL of my comic!!

You may have already noticed that I enjoy doing this. I've redrawn a comic panel for every chapter of Un-Phased, and now I want to see what y'all would do as well!

What are the rules?

There is quite a bit here since it's so open ended, but I tried to make it all as clear as possible. Please make sure to read all the rules, and if there's any confusion, always feel free to ask!

❔What panel can be redrawn?

• A panel or scene from Un-Phased, of course!

• Panels from interlude comics and from comic pages yet to be posted are also eligible for redraws!

• However, the panel must have the face of one named humanoid character clearly visible within it (any character found in the first 3 folders here qualify for this)

‼️ Your entry must:

• Clearly represent the scene/panel in question

• be 100% hand made (no bases, tracing, or AI tools)

• Be at least flat-colored or the equivalent (if drawn in black and white, shades of gray count as flat colors, like Art Fight Rules~)

• Link back to the page that was redrawn in the description

• Include #UPcomicDTIYS in the tags or description

✅ Your entry may:

• be drawn in any visual medium

• alter a character's pose or position

• move the camera angle

• alter character expression (provided it makes sense in context)

How you can win!

As mentioned, this is a raffle, so here's let's get into how the entries work:

• Drawing a panel: 3 entries automatically

• Having more than one character in your entry: +1 entry per character, up to 5 extra characters (extra characters can include background/unnamed characters 👍)

• Drawing a full background: +2 entries

• Fully shading the entry (cel or soft shaded): +1 entry

• Only one scene redraw may be submitted to gain entries

Additionally, for the first time ever, there will be a Beta-Reader's Choice! Lemme explain :3

• I have about 5 beta readers who see my comic before anyone else, all of varying artistic skill-sets (my brother has never drawn and others I met in college for animation, so they draw just a liiiiiitle bit more than him)

• I will show them all of the lovely entries and using a poll-based system, will pick one entry that blows them away the most. That winner will receive a Beta-Reader's Choice prize separate from the raffle!

No one tagged me this time. My excuse is a few folks I follow tagged "whoever is reading this" in their 10 facts meme and I'm using it as an excuse to talk about my Alternate Phase Universe XD

Here are the original rules:

What's Alternate Phase?

It's an AU of Un-Phased based on the original story I made for my quartet back when I was 13ish~

I highly recommend reading the description of this post for more info, or else you'll get lost

I won't do pictures this time because I don't have many drawings of AP folks... I should change that... >.>

But!!! Without further ado~

10 facts about Alternate Phase!

1. According to the Fey Folk, magic in this world is quite simply The Natural Truth. It is nature's oldest language with the power of everything's True Name. By speaking in this ancient language, Fey Folk are able to speak the truth into existence, and that is how they produce "magic"

2. Humans aren't naturally able to understand The Natural Truth. They can hear the words as they're spoke, but as soon as the words are finished, humans will fail to remember what they just heard. Even when broken down to the syllables, they cannot piece together the true word.

3. Fey-Folk Cannot Lie. In order to retain their knowledge of the Natural Truth, every word they speak must be the truth. It is said that a Fey who speaks a lie is stripped of their knowledge of the Natural Truth, and becomes indistinguishable from human. In fact, according to Fey, humanity comes from a Fey who lied.

4. Sorcerers are able to use magic due to tattoos all over their body. They discovered that by marking symbols on their body, they're able to use spells. The more powerful the spell, the bigger the tattoo. According to Fey, these tattoos are yet another lie tricking Nature into letting them remember words.

5. Names hold power. Everything in nature has a name under Nature's Truth, and by uttering a name, you hold the power to control that thing. The only thing that has no name are humans. Or perhaps humans simply don't remember the names nature gave them.

6. The Mage and The Blacksmith gave Ady and Edwin their true names. The marking on their hands is proof of this. It's a marking, similar to the ones sorcerers have, that allow the siblings to remember the mage and blacksmith's names and use it to create the sword and staff.

7. Every Century, a Fey undergoes a metamorphosis. In each metamorphosis, they gain more knowledge of Natures Truth and can use more magic. This also results in their true form becoming less human-looking. Orion is 8 years away from their second metamorphosis.

8. Theoretically, there is no limit to how many times a Fay-Folk can undergo metamorphosis. However, it is unlikely a Fey will live to see their 4th metamorphosis, and with the age of Sorcerers, the number grows smaller still.

9. Ady doesn't know her mom. Edwin got to know her before she died, but Ady was 3 years old when that happened. Their father was out of the picture by the time their mom was pregnant with Ady.

10. Matilda knows a bit of magic. Some humans are born knowing some words of The Natural Truth. Its rare, and even the Fey don't know how this is possible. Matilda keeps this part of her a secret. No one knows it as those she told are dead.

Instead of 3 separate journals for each character, I decided to make it an all-in-one!

Here are the (original) rules:

However!

I couldn't think of 10 fun facts for characters that doesn't get into spoiler territory, so I'm actually just doing 5 for each XD

I'll "mention" folks by naming them and their character, but I won't use the @ symbol because I'm self conscious about using that for memes like this, and I don't want to feel like I'm pressuring someone into doing this ;v;

As I've seen people do, I'll also add character drawings to the fun facts! It'll either relate to the fact or just be a drawing I've done :3

Anyways, enough intro! Let's just get into fun facts!

Aradite: >>ref<<

1.) She enjoys Embroidery! She doesn't claim to be the best at it, she just likes putting pretty patterns and colors in cloth. Plus the idea of turning flaws (holes and tears) into a piece of art is a nice metaphor for her~

Her favorite thing to embroider is flowers, as you can do so many random shapes and classify them as a "flower." She doesn't base them on any real-world flower, she just likes making it up as she goes.

2.) As mentioned in the UPtober drawing below, she shared her first kiss with her childhood best friend Kor. Though it was mutual and neither regrets the act of kissing each other, the story of this kiss is embarrassing to Aradite and she refuses to retell it to anyone. Zak knows though.

3.) She got into sword fighting through Zak. Zak was interested in swords and their designs for a long time because of the stories he read. He even tried sword-fighting a bit before Aradite did, which is actually what got Aradite interested. Zak had trained for about a month and bragged to Aradite about how he could now best Ari in combat, and she wouldn't stand for that.

4.) Aradite is a big animal lover and always wanted a dog. Unfortunately, her family never got one because her mother is allergic. So, she lives vicariously through the pets of others, especially Pip and Nutmeg right now.

5.) Her first name, Aradite, was given by her mother, and her middle name, Gertrude, was given by her father. Her parents decided before the twins were born that the first twin would be named by Caroline and the middle name by Hugo, and then do the opposite for the second twin.

Calahan >>ref<<

1.) His final design was created on January 21st 2023, less than a month before the page premiering him posted on February 13th. Below was his first ref sheet, made for the comic premier, and cleaned up for a Trade I did before the premier.

2.) Before then, I only started trying to finalize his design on November 15th, 2022. As mentioned, the Rats--who were merely mentioned on March. 13, 2023's page and wouldn't show up until much later--were designed earlier on April 22nd, 2022 (below is the Rat's first colored refs. Sierra and Briggs got minor updates, while Mylo went unchanged)

3.) Calahan's name's spelling is accidental. It came from me mistyping Callahan and just letting it stick. I believe Google didn't auto-correct me when I wrote the script for the "Lost in Time" interludes so I didn't know it was supposed to be spelled with to "L's" When I found out, I just never bothered to add it back in.

4.) Calahan's name is also not the first name I gave him. His character has existed as a concept for a while, of course, but the name Calahan only came to be sometime last year. Before he was Calahan, his name was Vivick. It didn't fit him when I revamped his character.

5.) the blue and red in his design only showed up in his final design phase. Before settling on it, I had tried using the color pallets below. Obviously, none of them stuck. However, the one on top is what inspired the final red and blue pallet choice.

Fey-Anna >>ref<<

1.) She is an avid learner and every so often, she tends to pick a new subject to study all she can about. Most of the time, it relates to botany and health care, but sometimes, it'll be about something else entirely. Basically, she'd be great at trivia games.

2.) Her favorite animals are butterflies. If she had to choose which one is her favorite, probably blue morpho butterflies. She finds butterflies fascinating, especially their life cycle from caterpillar to pupa to butterfly, and they tend to accompany her as she flower-picks. As they're passive and don't get in the way much, she finds them nice quiet company.

3.) She has a cousin! His name is Briar Everliegh. He also loves botany and collects potion ingredients in the areas too far away for Fey-Anna to reach. He's more quick to socialize than his cousin, but he will talk your ear out about herbs and medicine. (below is just a concept sketch and not his final design.)

4.) She knows many different languages from her studies. Asilish, Carnalien, and Skayvan are her mains, but she learned others through books and stories written in those languages. She communicate with patients in their mother tongue to make sure she's understood as best as possible.

5.) Fey-Anna's current design is not her first design. When I first made her, she was thinner, white, and had blonde wavy hair. She had this design for about a year-ish before I decided I just didn't like it, and I redesigned her to what would become her final design.
